THE MISSING LINK DEWEY ROBERTSON
Another one of my all-time favorites. Dewey wrestled for over 45 years, that's amazing! He passed away about a month after I had the pleasure of meeting him. Dewey, you will be missed. |
THE DESTROYER
Undoubtedly the greatest to ever wear a mask. The Destroyer made a name for himself wrestling across the U.S.A. and Japan.

GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE
The Hammer was the first legend I ever got to wrestle against. It was the first show I was going to do with a federation I had never worked with before. On top of that, I had been away from wrestling for a little while. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous. When I got to the building and found out they had me working Greg, I almost left the arena. For real, I was that worried. Although I didn't say a word, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka who was also on the card saw I was nervous and came over and calmed me down. What a classy thing that was for him to do, he didn't have to talk to me. I stuck around and had a great match with Greg. That match made me realize that I could work with these guys and gave my confidence a giant boost. Thank you "Hammer" & "Superfly," I am forever in indebted to each of you! I didn't get a pic with Greg that night, but I finally got this shot many years later. |
"SUPERFLY" JIMMY SNUKA
One of the all-time greats! See the write-up next to Valentine about my personal experience with Jimmy. Thank you Jimmy, you made a huge impact on my career!
